If anyone needs a ride from the station to our starting point, just let me know.

I won't be there. The weather is too bad to drive to the other side of the Netherlands to walk in the rain.

That's too bad Pieter

Buienradar predicts rain until about 10:30, then a bit if sunshine until 13:30 but dry until the early evening.

So I still have high hopes for a dry day in Haarlem tomorrow:

No trains from Leiden to Haarlem tomorrow

I'm looking for alternatives now, by car seems the most likely now.

Pieter, are you taking the A4? Maybe we can arrange a pick up along the A4 somewhere?

I can take the A4, it's only 2 km more then via Utrecht.

Is there some kind of carpool parking close to the A4 where I can pick you up?

EDIT: How about
Carpool Delft/Schipluiden A4 at exit 13 "Den Hoorn"

Weather doesn't seem to be on the side of Haarlem&Dyxum

Both Tylers and Cruquius are ok as an alternative. Cruquius shows the largest piston engine in the world running at 2-3 rpm if my memory serves me well.
As far as I remember there isn't much Bavo on Sunday (I'm not sure though)

See you tomorrow (I'll be by bus if that works)
That would be an alternative for Leo as well when there are trains to Amsterdam-Zuid.

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken

I still want to believe buienradar.nl, currently no rain forecasted between 10 and 22 and even some sun

Leo, If that carpool parking (see few posts up) is OK for you then I will be there between 10:00 and 10:15 to pick you up.

Is that OK with you?

Perfect Leo, I saw that too but didn't know if you could easily park there. I'll be there around 10:15 to pick you up. I'm picking up Ivo at P+R St-Job-in-t-Goor at 9:15 and Google maps gives me 57 minutes driving time from there to Den Hoorn.
