Simon (Tricky01) and I met up for an evening of photography at "Ladies window", a location I'd never visited on the north coast of Cornwall. He was down with his family for a holiday and suggested we waited for a clear evening for what we had planned. Luckily we had one and headed out into deepest darkest to the highest cliffs in cornwall. No pubs this time though, this really was off the beaten track!

Starting off with the view towards Boscastle as we headed out-

The small white building is Boscastle Coastwatch station, elevation 320ft.

Unfortunately we didn't manage a group shot, though I managed to get Simon setting up for the Ladies Window-

Thanks Pieter, I'll post more but I don't want to get too far ahead of Simon.

Really was a fantastic evening. Great to catch up with BigSi again 7 Years on from our last Mini DM in Cornwall, and simply fantastic light and scenery. I'm pleased with the images I captured, but disappointed I didn't catch half of the incredible sights I saw over the course of the evening.

I'll start with a series of Bs1 copies from different times in the evening, I was somewhat hypnotised by this view...

It was great to meet up again Simon, seven years pass so quickly.
What a view, I'm surprised that I've not seen many photos of this place at all, it was a great shout to head here Simon! You really captured the highlights in my hair in T1

In T2 the long exposure captures some beautiful swirls and the polariser really helps those colours to pop.

This is the "Ladies Window", a small arch with an impressive view over the Atlantic, please excuse the excessive sunstars but it was a great opportunity.

This place was made for sunstars, the Laowa produces a really unique one, very nice. T7 really is a super shot, probably the best of the evening I'd say.

The sun went down and we looked for other subjects-

Some long exposures, I didn't bring a stopper so I waited untill after dusk-

That "little" ship in Bs7 looks very good indeed!
Respect. Observe. Capture. Enjoy.

I just checked other photos from the same location and I'm pretty certain they were Gulls.
