It was a very good route - we didn't get the whole way but there was plenty of subject matter, and plenty of scope for further trips to that area...

I know that YourFunnyUncle is trying to get something together in York - I don't know if that would be easier for you to get to... Have a look in the UK meetings thread.

It certainly was a very enjoyable meet and hope to be able to do this again soon. The original plan was just a little over-ambitious - wasn't it?? - as our destination was the Docklands but we only managed to get to Limehouse! Perhaps next time we could do Limehouse to... well, we'll see how far we can manage!

I've been too busy to process any of the photos but will post one or two as soon as I can find a spare few minutes...

I two have been idle, but that's intentional as I went from Dyxum Walk to a week's holiday. However I have finally joined a photo sharing site and am starting to learn about downsizing and how to post (I think)...

I was late signing up for the walk as my Wife an I were booked to get our beginning archer's certificates -

It was a novel route from field to City, however my arrival was classy - by iconic RouteMaster

Offering the possibility of a very bad pun were... Two Knights

And a lone flower among the flats behind St Katherine's Docks

My thanks to Mob who certainly knew what he was about proposing this route with many unexpected views.

I was really taken by this, commemoratimg the Citizens of East London to which I am determined to return to try and do it justice

As the light faded Rob showed his insouciant side

And Docklands showed some night sights - bad decision not to bring a tripod!
