On Saturday Aug. 9, four of the Dyxum members (raisiner, Milo, Photodan & Pawel from left to right in the following photo) met for lunch & a chance to play with each other's camera equipment. It was a great lunch, great time and plenty of temptations to open the wallet for more lenses we absolutely, positively must have.

I was going to post some of the photos taken by everyone but this is my first attempt at sharing a photo. I know I can get the link to post but I'm hoping to get the photo itself. Better stick with only one for now & the guys can post their own if they would like. I believe Milo already has posted a few flower pics.

Here goes (I hope)...

Well, so much for a first attempt. Where on Dyxum can I find better details on posting photos?

Raisiner was very gracious in opening up his house for us. He also allowed us to try out his various lenses and camera bodies.

Many thanks to raisiner for welcoming us into his home. I had a great time & look forward to getting together again soon. Here are the flower pics I posted in open views.

Here are a couple more -

raisiner's very photogenic dog Millie (please correct me Bob if I've gotten her name wrong)

One of Pawel at work on a picture of his own.
