Yesterday Dick (der dickgg), Pieter (pegelli) and Johan (Oly shooter, not a Dyxum member) went for an early morning shoot in the Dunes of Drunen in the Netherlands. It's one of the last inland sand dune areas left these days.
The sunrise and the light was not really spectacular, but still nice. Here's some shots, more to follow (also from Dick) The Dunes: KM5D + Tam 17-50 A700 + 80-200HS The (other) shooters, Johan on the left, Dick on the right: A700 + 80-200HS After 2,5 hours walk it's time for coffe in "De Rustende Jager" (Edit, thanks Michel!: The resting hunter): ugmug.com/photos/582504980_r2HMY-XL.jpg[/IMG] KM7D + Tam 17-50 If you look really close this palomena prasina was crawling on the coffee table. It stayed long enough for a quick shoot: A700 + KM100/2.8 macro We had a lovely morning out there, thanks for the company ! Edited by pegelli - 29 October 2019 at 08:26 |

@ Shaggy, glad you liked them. We started on the other side from Tilburg, at the Giersbergen end (next to drunen).
The idea was born last week, if you check this thread you'll find out where/when meetings will be held, allthough this was kind of a last minute affair, Dick posted the idea last thursday for the following saturday. Ususally there's more lead time. |

What an interesting place. Looks like African river beds in the dry season!
For me, I like the first one of the first set and the second one of the second set most of all, and the pictures of the photographers at work are all good catches of moments we know well. |
