Thanks! I should have added which adapters I used. For the Sony fish I used the LA-EA3. This is my favourite A- > E-mount adapter. Manual focus most of the time but that's OK for me. The Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar is M42 and I used a DIY adapter with a focusing helicoid to be able to get closer than the native minimal focus distance of the lens. I like your Lensbaby shot! Having crossed Erasmus Bridge we went to Leuvehaven and Rotterdam Maritime Museum:
and I found it Pieter : 8 Low voltage 9 Ketelbinkie 10 Milk bottles '64 (a great year for milk) 11 Anchor windlass 12 Crank wheel 13 Eerland 28 (tug) #8 and 13: a7 + Sony fish 16/2.8 rest: a7s + CZJ Biotar 58/2 |

Great set, that certainly shows off the places you went as well as the camaraderie of the Benelux Dyxumers.
Looks like an interesting place to visit one day. I only ever passed though Rotterdam once back in 1976 when we took an overnight car ferry from Hull in the UK, and arrived early morning, drove off, and out of the industrial docklands as fast as we could to get to Amsterdam. Btw, did you notice how clean and sharp these iso 6400 and 12.800 shots are? I took a bit of extra care processing them (exporting full resolution from lightroom without noise reduction, some careful noise ninja on a layer such that dark areas get more denoise than the light areas, resize for web showing in 5 steps followed by some mild sharpening using PhotoKit sharpener). I'm really impressed, even my NEX6 iso 1600 pictures have more noise and are less sharp. Like I told Domien, I think this will become an expensive meeting for me |
