You're welcome!

Btw, did you notice how clean and sharp these iso 6400 and 12.800 shots are? I took a bit of extra care processing them (exporting full resolution from lightroom without noise reduction, some careful noise ninja on a layer such that dark areas get more denoise than the light areas, resize for web showing in 5 steps followed by some mild sharpening using PhotoKit sharpener). I'm really impressed, even my NEX6 iso 1600 pictures have more noise and are less sharp.

Like I told Domien, I think this will become an expensive meeting for me

you can always sell the boat, Pieter

Nice series Leo, especially the lightship and the rendering of that Biotar is lovely. I'd say almost as good as a Helios 44

Lovely series! Like we already said last Sunday, so fun to see how different we see and photograph things.
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Pieter. Agree, the Biotar is lovely. I'm a Meyer fan but some CZJ's are exquisite too and the Biotar is one of them. A pity Zeiss doesn't make them anymore. Sonnars are good too of course, but not so much 'character'.
If I ever find the time I want to compare the original (Biotar) with the clone (Helios). My feeling is the Helios is bit more extravagant, the rendering of the Biotar seems a bit softer.

Nuff lens talk. I very much enjoyed our visit to the Market Hall, a great design, made for a fish.

20 Market Hall: facade

21 Market Hall: Cornucopia

22 The sky is the limit

23 Escalator junction

all with a7 + Sony fish 16/2.8

That 16 fish really turns the market hall into a fish bowl

Nice portraits as well Leo. I like how the Biotar "swirled" the other zuiko

peg 23: A day out with the family (in the market hall)

A7Rii + OM Zuiko 100/2.8

+1 Pieter!

Judging from the recent contributions, people might think it was a pegelli-darosa meet...

Great shot of Anne. And where did you make 28? I missed that one!

After the Market Hall we escorted the ladies to the Town Hall. These two were made 'en route':

33 Dancing in the street

a7 + Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 25/4

34 The man in white

a7s + Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 58/2

Leo, 28 was taken in a side room of "De Pelgrim", it's the kettles that produce the excellent "steam beer" we had a few of

I like your 33, a decisive moment with the dancers in just the right place/pose

NEX6 + Super Takumar 150/4

peg 30: Sun bathing

NEX6 + M Summicron 50/2 DR

peg 31: My take on the escalators in the market hall

A7Rii + OM Zuiko 100/2.8

peg 32: I don't think Anne is fully convinced of what he sees

NEX6 + M Summicron 50/2 DR

You had a nice collection of lenses with you Pieter. #31 is a nice illustration of how different photogs see different things in the same scene. And #32 is the making of ... a photo that is yet to come.

on to Delfshaven, once the harbour of Delft, now a picturesque part of Rotterdam:

37

38

#38: a7s + Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 58/2
rest: a7 + Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 25/4
