We had a beautiful day, with a nice group of people, lots of sun and a little wind, at the end of the day, when we were already dry in the restaurant, a little rain.

Miracles happen. Thank you Flickr.

all with a7 + Sony 16/2.8 fish-eye

1 Meet and greet in Hotel New York

Clockwise: Peter (Reinhold_1), Ton (digiton), Jet (@Jetsplace), (behind Jet: Mr and Mrs Hitoro), Anne (AnneM), Domien (Dopol), Anita (Anita) and Pieter (pegelli)

Apologies to Peter: @2.8 and very close, a fish-eye is not the most charming lens ...

What struck me here is that the girls are talking and the boys are busy with their toys ...

Packing for this meet, I decided on a whim to take the Sony fish with me. No regrets :

2 De Rotterdam, a vertical city

3 De Rotterdam, a vertical city (dwarfing the band of Dyxumers)

4 The Leaning Tower of Rotterdam (6 degrees of tilt)

5 The Swan (Erasmus bridge)

6 Under the bridge

@ Leo, nice shots! And actually, Jet and I were gear talking ....

I think it was the 24-240 from Domien I had on my camera and Jet and I were talking about how close I could get with extension tubes. Close enough apparently as I took this photo with it:

These pics I took with the OM adapter and the 50mm Olympus lens from Pieter. I struggled a bit in the beginning, but I think these are pretty sharp.

This one I took with the Lensbaby Composer e-mount with Sweet 50 Optic

I was quite blown away about the 24-240 actually. Maybe to start with an A7* not such a bad choice.
