Some Swedish flower shots...

Daisies..

More daisies, plus a little spider...

Some of the little purple flowers that I spotted when I didn't have my 100 macro with me

Sweden has lots of dandelions...

Not sure what these are...

Bluebells?

Some shots from the Djurpark that was just over the lake - place looked very well set out with good views of the animals and a reasonable amount of space for them to move about in...

These were taken with Maffe's 80-200 f2.8 - combined with a generic TC for the deer shots.

Deer...

1.

2.

3.

Moose & Mooselette...

Eagle..

Bears...

1.

2.

3.

Crane

Goat!

..and a late addition to the Djurpark shots - this little guy was memorable for his tatty tail and the loud challenge he greeted us with - I think he is a Black Grouse, which I subsequently found out is called an Orr in Sweden - as in the pilot in Catch-22 who ditches in the Mediterranean sea and rows his little rubber life-raft to Sweden to live out the rest of the war - I hadn't realized the significance of Heller's naming before now. I'm not sure if this guy has crab-apples in his cheeks or not :-)

What a wonderful, diverse series of shots. So many excellent images here. I wish that I wasn't so isolated in my part of the world when I see you all having so much fun together and producing such good results. Bravo!

The sound of one hand clapping.....
