The High Line is ridiculously crowded, but still worth the effort. A one-way trip works well, from north to south, with a walkabout in lower Manhattan. August will be hot and humid!
The Oculus transit center down by the World Trade Center might be something for you to photograph.

Is there a particular time when one should walk the High Line (or parts of it)? What about the blue hour and the beginning night on Sunday? Any other ideas where to meet?
On Saturday morning I will have a guided tour through El Barrio (which I am looking forward to).

I have commitments this weekend but I am open to meeting on Monday around 3pm and I am free for the rest of that day. I live in West New York, NJ, right across Manhattan and it's a great spot to get night pictures of NYC.
