The last day of the meeting - Bob and Tim left us in the morning (you could have stayed longer guys - you had bank holiday on Monday ) and the rest of the pack (including Mikre Bartek, aka
Strictly speaking we went straight from the hotel to the Old Jewish Cemetery - just several tram stops away. The cemetery, despite being damaged to some extent (well, history was not too gentle for it), is really one of those magical places in Wrocław. I think that photos from this place will speak for themselves ... After spending there about an hour or more we headed a few tram stops back to take a look at the renovated (?) Main Railway Station. Question mark is needed because although the repair should have finished a year ago (for Euro 2012) apparently there is still a lot to do. Anyway, the station is quite impressive IMO and nicely decorated with Secession elements. In there we went to the station's bar for a coffee and this is where I almost ROTFLed. You know - the station was renovated but the bar remained all the same - typical Polish PKP bar I do not mean the walls (which were renovated of course) - I mean the style and attitude of the owners of the bar ... I think Polish Dyxumers will understand what I mean and for them - musical illustration Well, this was the end of the meeting from my Mikre side - I had a family meeting that day, so after instructing the Dutch Pack how to get to Hala Stulecia (Centennial Hall), Park Japoński (Japanese Garden) and Park Szczytnicki our group split and I really don't know how they progressed - it will be really interesting to see all those photos from their "rally". At least we know that they had not lost Leo Links: DM Wrocław 2013, May 1st DM Wrocław 2013, May 2nd DM Wrocław 2013, May 3rd DM Wrocław 2013, May 4th Edited by MiPr - 07 May 2013 at 12:34 |

You took the right camera here Mirek. BW film expresses the atmosphere very well. And that 600si is in great shape it seems.

Thank you Leo and Jet. Unfortunately some shots were "lost" due to the lack of colour ... hopefully I was shooting with my A700 too ...

+1 : Excellent job with the processing enhancing the soft mood Domien and glad to see I wasn't alone in capturing the romantic side of Wroclaw @MiPr That was very quick with that film Mirek! And looks like people were sad to see us go - but I more suspect it was just exhaustion from getting up early enough to see us off! And a great job capturing the cemetary - I particularly like #4 and #7 where we see along the boundary, transitioning from trees to pillars |
