The reviews of 2017 indicate just UHS-I support, but B&H...

...specifies one UHS-II and one UHS-I.

a99M2 users, which is correct?

How do I check?

I noticed B&H claims slot 2 can use Memory stick, but slot 1 allows Memory stick - do not try to put a Memory stick in slot 2, it is almost impossible to remove it.

A99M2 does not support UHS-II cards which requires an extra pin. Look down into the card slots and you'll see the same number of pins in both.

And although α99 II only supports UHS-I, you can still use UHS-II cards in these UHS-I card slots since there is backwards compatibility. Obviously you will not get the faster transfer speeds of UHS-II if the camera does not support that standard.

Congrats on the purchase, but there's no guessing about it, it's a fact.

Sony.com only mentions UHS-I, so I have no reason to assume they updated the memories: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/interchangeable-lens-cameras/ilca-99m2/specifications
