I have just discovered how hard dog photography is! (Especially in poor winter indoor light..)

Here is our new family member, Percy, a Bichon Frise.   He is 11 weeks old now and very much loved already;

Guilty Look

Camera Model: ILCA-99M2 | Lens: 70-400mm F4-5.6 G SSM II | Focal Length: 150 mm | Aperture: f/5.0 | Exposure Time: 0.01 sec (1/100) | ISO: 6400

Perky Pup

Camera Model: ILCA-99M2 | Lens: 70-200mm F2.8 | Focal Length: 70 mm | Aperture: f/2.8 | Exposure Time: 0.004 sec (1/250) | ISO: 5000

Nap time

Camera Model: ILCA-99M2 | Lens: 70-200mm F2.8 | Focal Length: 180 mm | Aperture: f/3.2 | Exposure Time: 0.025 sec (1/40) | ISO: 2500

He gets his final vaccinations soon then I hope to get some Puppy Action shots outdoors :-)

Lovely pics of Percy your new puppy.
Who's the trainer/pack leader in the house?

If I were you I'd put a dark blanket in his bed so he doesn't 'disappear' into the background.

My wife is the official leader but deep down, I think he knows his place already. This breed has been fine tuned over the years to be a companion dog so he is generally very happy with whatever is happening just so long as a human is leading. Not that I know much about dogs :-)

ABout the blanket, yes, good idea! I have 'lost' him on several occasions already, only to discover he had blended into his bedding
