After admiring those amazing birds in flight photos posted here taken with the SEL200600G OSS coupled with various mirrorless cameras, I succumbed to an acute GAS attack and took advantage of the Boxing Day Sales plus Sony Australia cash-back and bought that lens, delivered late last week.
I then agonised about which mirrorless body, and after lots of on-line research plus a few PMs to knowledgable Dyxum members, settled on the recently released a7iv, purchased yesterday. Part funded by the sale of my SAL300F28, a99 and VCG on eBay. I'm keeping my a99ii, a77ii and Zeiss ZA, Sony G, Minolta, Samyang and Sigma a-mount lenses that all fully function on the a7iv using my LA-EA5.

Long pre-amble, but this afternoon I took the new kit on its first outing to the local off-leash dog park to photograph 'Summer' my gorgeous tri-colour Border Collie grand-dog playing frisbee.
I'm very impressed with this initial foray. Camera set to continuous shooting mid, 1/2500 shutter speed, and animal eye autofocus.
