Thanks, am always amazed at how far and fast he can go on a can of dog food! Loves the beach ,it``s been sorely missed and worth the trip despite the cold arctic wind still blowing around here.

@fennetje: Nicely done, Sven! The back-light and foreground exposure were well controlled (or adjusted) and the DOF is spot-on.

Thanks Brian ! Still getting to know the lens, it's new to me. I usually operate the camera one handed and wave something of interest (a piece of apple or a stick) with my free hand to get Lizzy's attention. That's not an option when handling the minolta 80-200 2.8 however.

Another one from the same day. There was a lot more going wrong here, so I tried something different with the postprocessing, involving luma-masking in Capture One.
