Dougie stays with us from time to time and has a definite attention deficit disorder when it comes to recall - one sight of a rabbit, deer, etc and he's off. When that happens you have a 10-15 minute wait before he turns up as if nothing happened. Oscar barely notices other animals apart from dogs and does a great job walking Dougie.

At first, it looks like two dogs that ran away from a chain gang

So I tried it without me attached and it was surprisingly effective - Oscar is so soft that he pretty much passes control to Dougie - until I call him. |
