The third of our Dyxum.com Photo Challenges has the theme of "Flowers" and we are leaving it wide open to you to post images that meet the theme.
The pics must be taken with a Dynax 7D or 5D, but any lens will be OK.
Only two entries per competition per member will be accepted.
Please post your images at an easily viewable size.

Eligibility
You must be a registered member of Dyxum.com to enter. The administrators of Dyxum.com are not eligible but may provide “guideline” theme pics for the start of a competition.

Details
Each photo must be given a name, for voting purposes. Please include relevant EXIF info for exposure and ISO, as well as the lens type and filters/converters used. For heavily processed shots an indication of the work done would be appreciated.

Competition format
The administrators of Dyxum.com will select between three and five finalists from the shots entered and these will be listed for all members to vote on – a maximum of three points for any one shot, and one point for one of the others you like (this may change if there are more entries this time). The voting period for this first competition will be at least one week from the announcement of the finalists.

Photo size and linking
At this time we don't have sufficient web space to host your images. For that reason, you will need another hosting site for your images and to post them by entering the image URL in the post (with a the help of the dedicated button)
We recommend to keep image size around 650px so users with smaller monitors will be able to see them without vertical scrolling.

Copyright
The photos entered remain copyrighted by the original photographer, and by entering you are giving permission for the pic/s to be used on this site only. The winning shot may be used for a time on the front page of the Dyxum.com website. You will be contacted about any proposed subsequent promotional use on this site of your pic/s.

Suggestions for next DPC
Please include a suggestion for the next DPC with your entry.

General rules and intent
The main purpose of DPC is to share our images in an effort to present ourselves as photographers. At the same time I hope that we will share our comments and experiences with each other so each of us can benefit and improve our photographic skills.
- each week we will open a new topic and all registered users are invited to participate. Once a topic is closed and replaced with the new one we at Dyxum will select the best images and open a voting period.
- voting remains open as long the next topic remains open. The winning image is the one with the best voting score and it will be moved to a DPC winners dedicated thread.
- images containing nudity, violence or and any kind of provocative subjects are not allowed.

Have I missed something? I don't see a deadline date for submissions.

We have not been setting one as these are a new feature and rather than close a competition off after say one week with only two passable entries, we have chosen to be a bit vague. But we do send out reminder messages such as the one you presumably have just received. In general terms you will have no less than two weeks.

One of your best ever with a great ying/yang reference at the bottom of frame. I have to remind you that we are both ineligible. Did you handhold? If so, an even better result.

Thanks Cam.
I used a tripod. Macro shoots like these are very hard to get withot tripod, at least for me.
This was actually taken as a test image when i had a faulty 7D. hehehe should I be grateful for this :)
