I on the other hand like those plants in aarif's shot,
because they make a nice foreground and are "leading"
to the hut

in the Bangkok perhaps ~1/2 of the sky could be croped
to give the picture panoramic format

Thanks for those who gave kind words :-)

Sanjuro - the contrasting blues with the gold of the sun are amazing - gives a real sense of depth in my opinion in your first shot and the subtley of the second shot is very appealing. You capture the light at the right moments!

Cylegault - that reflection shot is beautiful - I love sunsets and sunrises and that's just got wonderful colours.

Ant-tv, I agree with Cameron - the depth really suits the picture and the colours are interesting on the water and it's such an ecclectic selection of objects from the spacecraft to the bridge and the spot light in the background - great stuff.

Pjilbarros - I am yet to get such a good waterfall shot - I never seem to get the exposure right and I'm quite jealous. Your second shot is almost like a painting, I had to look at it a few times to really appreciate how unique it is - great use of the ND filter and certainly something that I would like to try!

Samir - I can really feel the early morning in your shot - just seems so real.

Aarif - I think the leaves are good, it's almost like you're seeing it as someone hiding behind the plant and secretly watching the scene. You've got an interesting sky in the city shot that I really like, too.

I love landscapes, so I'm really enjoying all the posts in this comp!

All you guys are pro or something!?
I'm so impressed with all the photos in this round.

I'm away from home now so I just cropped the one I have on my
Powerbook.

Sigma 24/1.8, ISO400, f/3.5, 1/8, Hand Held.

p.s.
Thanks for your advise, Indigo.
So here is...

Nice one, Cleaner! I can´t stop thinking though that it would´ve been even better without the light posts to the right...

Don'y have to count this for "DPC" but this one is about the same spot taken
from different angle in daytime.

I have not seen "Light Up 1", but MkII ;-) looks great,
very cool effect with light play on clouds

for the "Haze" I am "missing" something in the foreground
on the right side (a boat, a bird...?) to give picture more
balance
