Nice one Howard - it almost looks like a photo-negative. Good effect!

Hi Howard,

I've just looked at your previous image and thought 'Hmm - that looks really familiar?'. I then looked at the title - of course; it's the branch in the upper path down to Heddons Mouth! If you take that route you ultimately end up in Woody Bay but - beware; lovely though that location is, the climb back up from the beach is a long and slow drag up a constant slope. Not for the faint hearted!

The image (and the following one) are lovely shots and carefully selected to make the most of the toning you've applied; it gives me food for thought with the images I have sat on my Mac at the moment from late June this year now!

Thanks for more 'memory jerkers' and best regards,

Neil.
My Mantra: "Comment on other's work as you would wish to have yours commented upon". Go on - it's fun!

Thanks, Neil - I look forward to seeing your results when they're ready.

You'll find a few more from the Heddon Valley and elsewhere in Devon in my album on Flickr, https://flic.kr/s/aHskCjvAqg, which is a work in progress

Cheers, Howard

An effective combination of both the duotone colours and long exposure. Well done.

     Faded Roses

Camera Model: ILCA-77M2 | Lens: Tamron SP AF 90mm F2.8 Di Macro | Focal Length: 90 mm | Aperture: f/4.0 | Exposure Time: 0.025 sec (1/40) | ISO: 200

(Originally very vivid yellow but a B&W and split tone in LR can make quite a different appearance)
