Back in 2012 DXO offered a free download of it's Optic Pro 8 Elite and emailed you the activation code. Well, my hard drive started to fail so I saved all of my photos, documents and downloads. I installed the DXO program on my new hard drive, but I don't have access to my old emails with the activation code. Would any of you have the code? Would they have sent a different code to each person that downloaded the program? I thought it was worth a shot at trying someone else's code.

I got an email from DXO saying that they don't know the key. I thought that was the end of that, but then I found a file in my saved documents that restored my old profile in outlook and found the message containing the key code. It was 2014 that they gave away the software.

It sure was a pain! I also changed my email address because there were issues setting it up in Outlook because ATT used to use Yahoo for their email client. I didn't realize that windows 10 was set to save everything to the cloud and I accidently deleted a file that Outlook needed. I found the file I needed on my external hard drive and that file restored my old emails. Happy accident! I had to go to every company that I do business with and change my email address before I lost access to my old address. Now I'm installing all of my programs and saved files. I hope I never have to do this again! I feel the same way about moving.
