WOW!! Some absolutely stunning images this week.
@Number6's POTW is such a very striking image, and well deserves its accolade.
@West's photo of the misty old town perched on the river cliff-tops is very beautiful - do we have any idea where this is?
@Vito44's candid pairing of the dozing woman and her mime companion is priceless.
A couple of my very favourites from the Pic-a-Song 2012 Challenge Part 2 are included here - @Sue's walkers on the sea wall looks like it has been stage managed and lit to perfection and reminds me so much of a painting by Jeffrey Smart, @MiPr's wonderful fisheye images of a person perched on the rim of their world are intriguing, and @petaar's 'Playing my Game' is such a delightfully realised chiaroscuro study.
Others that really jump out at me are @misu_d's bride and groom on a motorbike, @bigsi's Brentor, Devon, and @trav's bald eagle fishing on ice, but as I said above, every one included here is special.
Well done to all - truly inspirational.
Joe

One of the best weeks I can remember and with 4 of my top 10 Dyxum photographers included too.

Strangely enough the picture of the week, although excellent in it's own right, is my least favourite of the lot. Having said that it is a week of very high standards so any other week it would have probably been different.

Anyway, congratulations to everyone included.
In 2012 after months of tests I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. I was 46 and suddenly life made sense. I don't mean to offend with my comments so please tell me if I do so I can put it right.

I laughed with Number6's picture, which has been selected as picture of the week. Also, "The compass" is really impressing and makes me dizzy if I look it for some time. The entries by West and the fireworks by jaygalleno have catched up my attention too - the first because its dreamy mood, the second because its striking colors.

And finally, I'm honored be amongst so many gifted photographers with an entry of my own. Hats off to all of us!

I am very honored to be included in this wonderful gallery. It is a very fine collection of work. I do like the Photo of the Week by Number6. The scowl is priceless and speaks well of the vagaries of being human. Very cool. And well composed. The Sensual Tube by Spirit36 was also a highlight of the week.

Again thanks for including me.
