Nice selection as ever. Some great shots there. Congrats all.

@mikey2000: I don't know if your title is jokey or not but I'd say that was a rosemary beetle. They're a recent import to the UK and play havoc with rosemary plants. Beautiful but I hate the little blighters.

Thanks for picking one of mine!   

I recognise quite a lot of Oktoberfest pics here so the challenge is going well. Of course, all the non-challenge pics are rather amazing too

@gouldina - it was a bit of a jokey title because to my eye, the beetle is almost exactly the same shape as a normal ladybird but with that striking metallic look.   I'll make sure I don't plant much rosemary! Then again, if they like rosemary that much, perhaps I'll treat them to a bunch as they are so photogenic :-)
