Leo - "Disappearing Messages" - is extraordinarily almost-monotone. Well-spotted!

Fred and Matthew: thanks a lot, I'm glad you like it! The scene struck me like the photo did you.

Its a great picture. I am embarrassed to say that I have never seen an owl in the wild. Id love to learn how to spot them.
Did you consider getting rid of the branch behind the owl?

Thanks Jonas ! Mmm... i dindn't like the branch, but it didn't cross my mind to get rid of it. Maybe nest post, thanks for the tip.

Like Hezu point out, information on the web can help a lot to spot owl (like eBird for example), knowing there habitat and biology are a great help too. Overhere winter it's a great time for owl watching, many northern owl will migrate to our latitude for the winter like this boreal owl !
Hope you get the chance to see them in the wild

Jacques
