You've heard of dyxum meets, you've heard of mini-meets, well this is the first micro meet. A solo dyxum meet if you will. As mentioned here, I'm up in Yorkshire to complete the Yorkshire three peaks challenge tomorrow (24 miles / 38.6km, 5200ft / 1585m of ascent within 12 hours). But prior to attempting that tomorrow - and to prepare for the early start - I dragged myself out of bed at 4am this morning and headed over to Ribblehead Viaduct, arriving shortly after sunrise. When I looked out the curtains when the alarm went off the wall to wall cloud cover made me seriously consider getting back under the covers, but somewhat reluctantly decided to proceed as planned. I was very pleased I did (and even a tad regretful I hadn't set the alarm slightly earlier as the sky illuminated as I drove over). I arrived around 4:50am (sunrise 4:38) and wandered around snapping away until 8:30 and time to head home to a day of work. I managed to process through lunch so here are some of my favourites.

I've been over it a few times but you don't see much of it when you're on it. I like your portrayal of this impressive structure in the soft early light, particularly the third image with the early mist on the pastel fells viewed through the arches.
