very good to meet up with Simon (Tricky01) at Brands Hatch yesterday for a couple of hours shooting the Friday test session..
..This was taken with the NEX-7 and the little Pergear 10mm fish-eye (as you can see it goes a little magenta at the periphery, but is not without character...) Motorsport shots to follow (hopefully from Simon as well..) |

The test session was just before a Caterham weekend, so there were always likely to be lots of 7s...

Nice pics Bob, a d great job controlling the oof doughnuts with the reflex lens. I have a suspicion we might have several snapped at the same split second - getting some cars in the distance heading down the track to add some depth and background interest. Came out great here. I also like the colours in your set, not too bright or too saturated, but some how also Bright and bold (I know what I mean, apologies if no one else does!).

Great work both!
@Bob: You picked a good spot at that curve, creating good depth with the height dfference. @ Simon: I havent; seen racing in IR before, something special! The last two are nice impressionistic, almost surrealistic pictures. |

Excellent panning shown here - I even know where you were standing.... I'm also impressed with the quality of the 500mm Reflex shits as well - seem to isolate the fencing very nicely!
Thanks for sharing guys and great work! best regards, Neil. |

They have added some new cutaway sections of fence at the top of the hill Neil, so throwing the fence out of focus is not quite as essential as it once was... I nipped along this morning as well - they had single seaters some saloon cars and Minis alternating on sessions... |
