A little walk to Nijenburg estate today, late afternoon.
The aim was to capture the lightened tree, that I only had seen driving home after work in the rain sofar.

Very nice, Fred - these images convey quite a heavy dose of holiday feelings!

#1, #2 and #4 are my personal favorites - with #1 ranking at the top. It has a wonderful mood of a good evening just beginning.

TFS!

Beautiful pictures - #2 and #3 highlight the tree very well.

Glad you got time before the rain, you obviously thought about how to shoot it! I'm a fan of 5 and 2. You didn't run into the shelter for the long exposure in 6?? 10 second timer and get in there (but don't move LOL).

Thanks Paul! To be honest I didn't think too much beforehand (apart for the tree with a reflection), but just tried it from a few different angles. The only consideration was to take a tripod. I like the idea to run ito the shelter! Now I had the selftimer at only 2 seconds, but I may use your idea another time

Nice idea. I like them all. The only thing I would do is changing an order of 6th and 7th photo. I would put a shelter one at the end. TFS.

Thanks Jack. In fact the original chronological order was as you suggest, but when I looked at the post in a preview I felt there was too much repetition between #5 and the next one in that case.
