Hello everyone, I thought I might be able to use my Kenko extension tubes that I use for my old ( but loved ) A-77 on my NEX 6 but seems not. So can anyone recommend a decent brand of tubes for the NEX?

I would like to use them with my Sony SELP1650 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 lens.

Many thanks.

The cheap plastic ones I have work fine. I think they are Meike/Neewer branded. They have electrical contacts. I can't say I've used them with the PZ 16-50.

It is kinda unfortunate that the extensions mess up translation stabilization as that is more helpful at higher magnifications. It would be nice to have extensions that worked properly with that.

OK I Just have to ask; The a77 is old and loved from 2011 but the NEX-6 from 2012 is not old or just unloved?

Too Funny!

I love them both. My A-77 never lets me down and I feel the same about my NEX. Of course, the NEX is lighter in weight and a bit easier to carry around but I take care of both bodies and am loyal to both.

Take care and thanks!
