Fairhope is a small coastal community on Mobile Bay in the U.S. (Alabama). My wife and I enjoy the small town atmosphere and the wonderful art galleries, shops and restaurants. We spent a few days there this past week.

#1 - Caladium

#2 - No Fishermen Today

#3 - Hurricane Victim

For me #1 doesn't work but the other two look fantastic compositions with which you spoil us often. Apart from slight exposure differences, for me #2 and 3 look too similar. Or maybe you wanted to post another photo? Anyway, great work TFS Roger    .

Nice to see "rain" as a topic - and #2 really does work beautifully to depict it! (Or will there soon be another series, "Fairhope Sun"??).

But of course, my favorite in the series is your b/w image, #3.

TFS!

Aha, with the drops in #2 #1 also fits better in the series. Like Harald, i also (still) prefer #3. The other two do add to the series as a step to the last one.

Thanks all for the comments. And, yes, #3 is my personal favorite as well in this group.

Really moody, great composition and I like the PP you made with not so high contrast

Another vote for #3. I didn't need to look to see who the photographer was    It was a hard choice though - #2 works well for me too, especially with the title.

OOps, I clicked Submit Post by accident. I was going to say that maybe #2 would be my favourite but for the slight assymetry of the bridge.

All three work for me. Of course we always want to see your seascapes and rotting piers but I think the other two work really well as a them. There was a better shot than #1 therr for you I am sure, but I really like how it is presented. You're always full of neat ideas!
