I'm waiting for negs to dry...
There is nothing, absolutely nothing, half so much worth doing, as simply messing about in boats

What a day!
Today Maffe spotted me and loaded me with some nice Portra 160 and let me move my shutter a few times!
Down side was that he did not want to use my light meter, he said something about "Sunny 16", hope he got it right

Need some better weather......
I've got several cameras loaded, expecting some nice weather before the challenge started, but no luck. It is cold and uninviting. So, I'll wait untill spring comes to town.

I just finished developing my first home developed roll of film in 38 years (since Shop Class in Junior High School!). I probably won't have time tonight, but hopefully can post them tomorrow.

I'm not sure, do i understand correctly to put all pictures of each roll in one seperate post? Or is there any limitation, technically?

Julian, you should put 1/3 of the pictures of each roll in one separate post here. Don't forget to add the thumbnails as well.

Ok, I was crying in the beginning that i have so little time etc.... It was so much fun that i shuttered through 4 rolls of various film through my cameras for now, i even self processed a B&W-film by now!

I will start with a Kodak Ektar 100 on a Dynax 7 Limited. The lenses used were the Minolta 28-135 F4, the 50 F3.5 Macro and the 80-200HS. I admit that collecting the individual data on each picture from the camera was annoying, so i just left that out. My idea was to think twice before releasing the shutter, which could be the idea behind the challenge ...
I chose 20 out of 36 frames that seemed appropriate, by now i think it would have been some less..what a great challenge! BTW, i shot some digital today, got 150 pics of one and the same bird. Cost me hours to find the right one...talk about wasted time.

Enough of the talk, here is my selection from the first roll. For me, they are keepers as i remember when i shot those, but i am open for discussion. Scanning and some PP in Lightroom was done by me, development not by myself. The latter may change until the end of April

Yeah, we have a starter! And a nice one!
(although 1/3 of 36 is 12 and not 20... )

I shot on roll of Portra 400 today! And I am still waiting for my Ektar and Velvia 50 (120 roll) will arrive from processing. But they will go to the training thread.

I could not resist... in some parts of the country 20 sounds like 12...I will return with some Hasselblad or Dynax 7 B&W, this time strict to the rules, the rest in training then. Glad you liked them, one is not always sure about how colours will look like on other screens, quite a few had a blueish cast after scanning, but thats for the training thread!

I am curious what the next days will bring here, get it on!

In the interest of honesty ... I owe 5 + 3 pictures from 2 rolls.
I'm leaving on a work trip tomorrow, and I shot partial rolls so I could post something before I disappear for a week and a half ... luckily only a few shots so I don't have to post the really bad ones.

These are the scans from the One Hour Photo in CVS Pharmacy - I'll see if I can do a better scan.

I thought this would be my money shot, but the negative has the striping.
It's close to work, so I can go back, but I was there at the perfect light.
