Thanks Mike!
I am trying out this Mamiya soft focus lens and I'm quite pleased with the results!

I did want to add some of my recent efforts.
1

Sunflower 13-07-27 Orton 220926 by GlasseyeA, on Flickr
Stack of 7 shots combined in Helicon Focus, then subjected to harsh treatment in Corel PSP (no pixels were harmed).

2

Yellow Flower Blue Fly 1391 by GlasseyeA, on Flickr

Both with A77 and Tamron 90mm

Thanks for looking,
Mike

darosa,
Truly gorgeous flowers!
It is difficult to get good, accurate flower pictures that look like... well, flowers. What you have here gets into another range of expression. I really like the way these look, very inspiring.

TFS,
Mike

The sig is big and across the image for a reason. No worries though.

Beautiful flower! Two points though: central compo (i can live with that) and very distractive signature (can't ..). TFS

Trying to keep a grip on the reds and yellows. Shot with a Sony A99 and CZ135/1.8 with a 12mm extension tube to get closer. My wife has been helping out holding a reflector.

Cheers,
