That's a good one of the Notocactus Snowfella. And yes, the circumstances must be exactly right for them to flower: they are quite picky.
1 Aquilegia  2 Violets are blue  3 Broom  4 The onion field  All with A99 + Mirex T/S adapter + Mamiya 80/4 Macro @ F4 That lens + the tilt adapter are really excellent for macro work. Great colours and DOF a la carte. |

#001 White flower  Aperture: f/8.0 | Exposure Time: 0.006 sec (1/160) | ISO: 400 #002 Bokeh, bokeh, bokeh...  Aperture: f/8.0 | Exposure Time: 0.02 sec (1/50) | ISO: 200 #003 Yellow on red 001  Aperture: f/16.0 | Exposure Time: 0.008 sec (1/125) | ISO: 200 #004 Yellow on red 002  Aperture: f/16.0 | Exposure Time: 0.008 sec (1/125) | ISO: 200 All taken with A200 and Tammy 90mm F2.8. I really hope the colors on last two are O.K. because I edit them on my laptop screen and I don’t know how they look on your screen. Note to myself: buy a better screen |
