Thanks for your praise! It's from the "library". It was taken in 2004, the "last" year before I went "digital". One of the main problems with (in particular the "older" shots) is the large amount of dust and other artifacts you get when scanning these pictures, even when these have been stored carefully in special plastic film holders. Negatives are in fact more difficult to get good scans of compared with slides. But the more recent pictures come out reasonably well.

Yeah the photo seems to have a certain smoothness and the noise is very low. I still have many slides from my granddad - must scan these in the future too.
