Went out this morning with the neighbor - who is Orchid guru.

These are all hand held, so they are not that sharp - these plants are tiny, you are on your belly to get a good shot.

The top two are the same orchid quite rare, he did tell me their names but l wouldn't remember them in a pink fit.

Here is a "local" flower: StJohn's Wort called by this name because it reputedly blooms on "St.John's day" at the end of June:

Beautiful shots Miwok.
Particularly like the third (Central Vulnerability) for its colors and composition and the last one (Embryo), for it's details and fine OOF area.

I completley agree with Dopol but perhaps I prefer #1: clouds of joy for the beautiful details in the white leaves.
