Here is a very dark coloured cranesbill, probably a cultivated form:

Hi Dopol,

In Dutch the name is: "Stokroos", but it is not a rose at all, in English it is called Common Holly Hock.

The Latin name is Alcea Rosea and it is member of the Malvaceae family (in Dutch: malve familie). It comes in many colours from white (as shown by you) to very deep red.

Compliments with the nice picture

Hello K9tales - Lynn,
Itīs a Dicentra Spectabilis. In Sweden the common name translates to a "Lieutenant's Heart". Don't know the common English name, but the flower is lovely.
(Sorry, not the Fuchsia family.)

So many lovely picures in this thread!

Liz

A few from today. All were shot using A350. First one with 135STF the second two used the STF w/12mm extension tube
