I love the lily, with its raindrops.

Here are a few more of the spring flowers on my way to work, all taken with 7D and Tamron 90/2.8

1. Clover


2. Gorse, with bonus bug


I don't know the names of the next ones, can anyone help me out?

3. I really should know the name of this one


4. I thought the OOF white flower would add interest, but seeing it on screen I concluded it was too distracting. What do you think?

flattie's "lily with the raindrops" is an iris

The unknown #3 of alanfrombangor is the Digitalis Purpurea or (in English) the Common Foxglove also known as Purple Foxglove, the next one is probably one of the many types of cranesbill or a member of the mallow family. The white one is a member of the cerastium or chickweed family and the final one is not a thistle but the centaurea scabiosa or Greater Knapweed.

I think I've got them right but don't shoot if one or more are wrong

I think the unsharp white flower is not too distracting, it could maybe slightly darker but I like the picture nevertheless

Ramsons (or Daslook in Dutch, Allium Ursinum) which came up spontaneously in our garden. It's a legally protected species so we were very glad to see one so close to home !

I don't know plants so I can't give a name to this plant. I was in the garden trying out my new (used) Min 35-105 and I really like everything about this lens.
