We were underway to the lighthouse of Cape Race in Newfoundland when we suddenly spotted a fox at the side of the road. There was a speed limit of 30 km/hr and nobody else on the road so we quickly stopped to take some photos

Hi there

After we stopped another one also came racing towards us

But it waited at the other side of the road to see if would hand out some food, which we didn't but I guess some people do which makes them less shy of people

Then they decided to put up a little act together on the middle of the road

And then back into "waiting mode"

...and no reward from you to poor animals for their acting... why are you so cruel, Pieter?

Funny set Pieter. They look large.
Feeding them once or twice changes their behavior.
Sitting and looking friendly usually do the the trick.
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken

Very nice catches, I hope they don't get too trustful of motor traffic.
