I have just signed up for a free webinar from Sony-NL on 20 April about nature photography with our well known member and Sony ambassador IJsvogel (Gustav) as speaker
![]() We haven't seen him here for a while, but I am looking forward to his stories. In the comfirmation email, he introduces himself and proudly mentions two 'best of year wins here "on Dyxum, an international Sony forum" ![]() |

Is this open to anyone or just residents of NL?

Interesting to hear of this.
Gustav has been missed in recent years, together with his mind-blowing images, the result of his meticulous preparation, mastery his equipment, and knowledge of his subjects. Good to hear he's still around and prepared to share his expertise. Like Anand, I'd be interested to know if the webinar is open to others via Zoom or other means. |

My guess is that it's open worldwide, but that it's all spoken in Dutch.
Tried to find it on the Sony NL site but didn't find it. Maybe Fred can post a link? |

Nothing mentioned, but it looks like a Dutch spoken event, with emphasis on a non A- or E-mount camera, the Sony DSC-RX10 IV BTW |

Thanks for the info, Fred.
The fact its based on the RX10iv makes it less interesting, and the fact it's in Dutch makes it incomprehensible for us foreigners. Perhaps you could share any key gems with us afterwards. I'm sure the imagery will be stunning as all Gustav's photos have been over the years. |

I've always been interested in the RX10IV and its capabilities. I'd be quite interested but being in Dutch I will not understand much of it.
