Nice Dena! The weathered wood in the background gives it an extra charm.

Another sleeper from 2008:

After a record dry autumn, we have at last had some decent rains, and this is the result in a patch of our garden where we once had a too large eucalyptus tree that had to be cut down after it dangerously shed a big branch a few years ago. Its stump and roots were mechanically mulched so we have a very deep bed of wood chips that provides excellent growing material for mushrooms. I haven't researched whether these are edible, but they are certainly good subjects for photos.
All a99ii with CZ 135mm f1.8 Sonnar, Exif embedded. C&C welcome.

The first I've seen of this. Pretty sure it's fungus. Softball size, but more flat.

Continuing from my post of 17 June 2019. More from the outcrop in our garden, now more mature with the heads beginning to cup.
All a99ii with CZ 135mm f1.8 Sonnar, and all at f1.8.
