Greetings folks, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a source for *genuine* Sony DSLR hot shoe covers. My A350 is feeling a little naked without one, and the third-party options don't fit snuggly enough (if you know of one that does, I'd be fine with that as well). Thanks.

Thanks, good suggestion. Unfortunately, they aren't easy to come by either, at least here in the states.

Just in case anyone is following this discussion, I have some recommendations.
The Foto&Tech (sold on eBay) fits exactly as the original Sony cover did on my A390. I haven't tried it on the A350, but they have the same hot shoe so the fit should be same. Cosmetically, this cover is nearly indistinguishable from the Sony. The JJC (sold on Amazon) has a loose fit and is my least favorite of the 3rd party manufacturers. The plastic also feels a littler thinner. |

Thanks. That's usually my first stop for parts, but unfortunately they are out of stock for this one.

You could try these: genuine covers.

I know it's a little different from what you're looking for.
FYI: 3D Printer data: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2806084 You can ask a friend who has a 3D printer, or you can order a paid print service. If you just want a simple lid, you can also make it from thermoplastic clay. |

From the description, it sounds like that manufacturer actually made an effort to get it right. I went with the FotoTech model that I mentioned above and it's been great - fits snuggly, but can also be removed without too much effort. |
