more pics and stories to come
Coast

There is a reason I specifically called this a children's adventure. Yes this is an adventure for all ages. A thrill at least for me to see this. But I was amazed at what I did see:

Every seat on this long train, 10 or 12 cars, from what I could tell had little people in it! I never expected that many children riding the Polar Express to go see Santa. What an adventure. God Bless them all 😇

working on more pics and stories

It took me a while to realize the Polar Express steam engine wasn't the same one that was running around this summer #4960, but was #29 the one I photographed in pretty bad shape above last year! Wow

I don't know if there is a steam engine running now. I don't really keep track of that too much.
Went down to Williams cause I know they run a Polar Express train and found out they have been running 2 a night since beginning of November. I should find out if 29 is in running order. They sure did some heavy restoration on it.
Looks like they will have 2 identical steamers running this summer
more pics on the way

I can't get over the fact they put the "seasons greetings" over the Grand Canyon while there seems to be enough space next to it.....

Anyway, Michel is right, looks like an adventure for all ages! TFS

2 new photos in the top post
I'm going to see if I can keep all the photos continuous in the top post

and Addy it seems its more important for them to have the lite up neon in the center, especially at night when you can't see the Grand Canyon logo

Thanks everyone for the kind comments

Super collection of photos, Joe! Wish I could have been there! Like the lighting on the steam engine. Have they been running any steam lately there?
Regards,
Kelly

You apparently made some sort of error with the markup this time since now no pictures are showing... And personally I think it is often better to add additional pictures by adding these in a followup rather than edit the original post.

Nice additions Joseph, but by jove did you mangle the BBcode which I edited so now all the images show as intended.

You can see the April Foolishness 2021 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum
