The Porsche In #2 is iconic, but so is the Ford GT40 in the last shot. Good you included the McLaren Chevrolet 1970 too. Too bad we can't hear its soundtrack. I do really miss the Porsche 917 in this. TFS Neil

I had the opportunity to attend a vintage race weekend a few years ago that featured cars from the old Can Am series. The rumble of those beats was something that sent shivers up my spine. Neil, thanks for allowing us a glimpse behind the guilded (or Gulf blue and orange) curtain. Amazing opportunity...and well captured for us to enjoy. |

Ah; yes - the 917. They do, normally, have a 917 in the collection but unfortunately it was out on loan/display the day i was there. Believe me - if it had been there, it would have been photographed!
Thanks and best regards, Neil. |

Not if you see all the merchandising now associated with the brand! There's money to be made in the history and folklore associated with it by the looks of it. ![]() |

You made my day.... TFS. I love motorsports since the days of the Ford GT40, Matra MS530, Alfa Romeo 33 and Ferrari 330. In F1 we had the Lotus, Eagle/Westlake, BRM, Tyrell and Ferrari. Your pictures bring back good memories!

Hello Neil👋
Thank you for the time travel to a favorite era. What a treat to see this collection. Thank you for sharing. Of course the ford GT is my favorite. It looks like it could go out a win a race today. I was expecting to see Steve McQueen or at least James Garner ha ha tfs |
