The fires in the West Coast of the United States seem to be having some effect on the East Coast. It was a hazy day in the D.C. area. The sun was shining, but it was subdued. Still, the cool September day was yet another ideal day for a walk at Huntley Meadows.

Thanks Michel. The kingfisher seems to like this location. The picture of the kingfisher in this set was taken four days after I first spotted a kingfisher in this lodging.
