I did a quick scan of all the images, and there are a very few where the horses stretches out, I think they where hold back, short tracks between jumps in quite small arena.
The kids did a lot faster runs, fewer and not so high jumps... and fearless :-) so a few of those are better... whenever I get there :-)

In the two albums you shared there were more than a few very good pictures Lars! Don't be too harsh on yourself.
Just curious, were relatives of you participating, or were you a just an interested, but "total stranger"?

Thanks m8, and I'm not harsh, just to try to learn "horses" :-)

Actually, at one of my favorite places looking for birds and insects there is an old place where they have horses and nice barns and I was shooting (tried to) barn swallows in one of them after I got allowance from a girl working there, and later I sat down and talked to her, and took a few shoots of her.

Meet Anna Freskgard. (wt., last a should be an a with a small ring above it but the stupid forum changes it to an a???)

Next day I got an invitation to this event from her on FB.
Later I got to know she is quite famous in terrain running with jumps etc with horses (hmmm, I don't even know what it's called in proper Swedish :-)) but she had been injured and was recovering since quite long a time now and was going to get back just there at an easy try. ...and I missed her run as I was dividing with some security persons about where I would like to stand, and when they finally gave in she just passed us :-(

At least I'm a name dropper now

A tip, don't use the same setting for horses on the run as for BIF, that is, exposure at the AF-spot point, leds to a lot of editing afterwards ;-)

An oldie, and off-season

NEX5 + Summaron 35/2.8

I'm glad I didn't bin the shot at the time, because I remember I didn't like the flare then, but now I actually like it
Mind the bandwidth of others, don't link pictures larger then 1024 wide or 960 pix high, see here
