I'm glad to see someone is actually buying the 500mm. I hope many people are and that Sony continues to produce high-quality lenses!

@ gustav: I have requested all dyxumites to volunteer to attend to your 500mm f/4, in your absence. In this manner, the 500mm will be adored and treasured. It will realize that it has numerous dedicated parents, everywhere on the Earth. It will become a mature, adult citizen of the photographic civilization. Eventually, it will produce intelligent 10mm baby lenses, all of whom will mature into beautiful 1.000mm lenses in the future.

@mark.t: Thank you, most kindly. I suppose that I am a dedicated maternal figure. LOVE babies of all ages and sizes, including infant 500mm f/4 super telephoto lenses whose Daddies are on vacation.
