A beautiful series with the bridge Michael, with the 2nd my slight preference for the balance between the bridge, trees and sky.

Yepp, took the kit lens zoom for all these shots, though at its widest FOV one has to deal with possible hot spots.
I've been using the old Olympus OM Zuiko primes for my infrared recently, having discovered they give me no discernable hotspot, and most of the time the 21mm f3.5 now lives on my infrared NEX 5N.

They do a whole series of primes at 21mm, 24mm, 28mm, 35mm,(50mm etc), all except the 21mm at f2.8 and all lovely and small, taking 49mm filters, all designed for SLR so no issues with corners and then you only need to carry a single adaptor too.
(They also made all those focal lengths at f2 as well, most just a bit bigger, but considerably more expensive)

Thanks for commenting Tim.

And yes, shooting IR with old manual lenses is often the better way to go (Pentax-K that is). But sometimes you also have to give the lenses living on the shelf most of the time a test-drive again

I don't know much about IR but I always seem to think it will appear a bit like B&W. But the blues here all look great too!

N190 is really striking. Other than being a little crooked it's pretty much perfect.
