Recently tried the new Samyang AF 45/1.8 FE for IR and so far haven't noticed any hotspot even stopped down, so seems to be perfectly usable for infrared shooting. Though sometimes the AF can be erratic.

Looking forward to see more of your IR attempts soon, but don't forget to snap some "normal" shots along this new photographic journey, too

Thanks Michael! It's claer that IR isn't for every day and subject, so, don't worry about my other snaps! Your new shots are inspiring to go on with IR too though

I am probably biased now I jumped in IR too, but I like them both Michael.
The second one is a bit away from the more common IR scenes, but it works for me.

The first two are great, Mirek - the first one is a wonderful minimalistic plane "portrait", the second one shows these miraculous clouds - that are so beautifully emphasized by the IR. I have a bit trouble with the yellow color of the third one - although it's definitely a lovely landscape image. It's not a nice yellow (if you think about connotations).

TFS!

Well done Mirek

Though I have to echo Harald that the third one is too yellowish brown. IMO it might benefit from a channel swap and slight tint adjustment to make the sky blue again.

Thanks for your comments. I tried B&W for the last one but the sepia-ish toning looked better to me :)
