Cool thanks for the info! when it works it really works.
I saw on your flickr - interesting idea to use a laptop as a polarized light source!, and UV fluorescence. |

![]() This time a pure IR shot (720nm filter, shot using a 500mm mirror lens & making the most of the A7ii's focus aids) |

I like the reflection in the water, but with the bushes in the bg it looks too busy this time. A pity as the bushes look very nice too, it's just the combination.

^^ That last one is funny Michael, only the road should have been white also to make it look like a winter scene and make the skier look totally in its place

The skiers outfit (& less noticeably the wheels) would still give the game away :) A lovely shot. |

Thanks all. The cross-country skier came into the frame unexpectedly, waited for the cyclist in the background to be at this sunny position instead. But then the timing and scene just was perfect, so actually had to press the shutter button

![]() L vulgare ![]() City flowers ![]() Woodland ![]() Diagonals (I found this fellow in the EU who does IR conversions and has instructive youtube eps, like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQZp-wZX7DM In addition I saw a comment in the "Cameras and lenses for IR"thread here on Dyxum mentioning that the M AF 35-105 1st gen was a solid IR performer with an IR-mark, and it was! Found pleasant use for it (the LA-EA4 wasn't it) finally, with my IR modded A100. How to use the IR mark was pretty intuitive. It's dependant upon the AF scoring a hit which it doesn't always, but more often than not) Edited by Micholand - 25 June 2021 at 20:19 |
