Reality is a projection! I love the sci-fi touch, Michael!

Things can go wrong with an IR photo session, isnt't it Mirek?
![]() During my recent nature walk, I also brought my full spectrum converted NEX-5N, with 18-55mm OSS. I thought I had put on the 720nm filter, but afterwards I concluded it was the 850nm. That works best in BW (at least for me), so here are a few, mostly Dutch landscape shots. The corn fields worked well here I think. #1 ![]() #2 ![]() #3 ![]() #4 ![]() #5 ![]() #6 ![]() #7 ![]() #8 ![]() TFL Feedback in any form welcome as usual Edited by Fred_S - 06 July 2020 at 19:36 |

Beautiful compositions, Fred!
Although the "leading lines" compos are really excellent, my top favorite is #1 - wonderful layering from front to back ground. But the vignetting is conspicuous (not really detrimental to the overall effect, though) - what lens did you use? TFS! Edited by waldo_posth - 05 July 2020 at 20:35 |

Thanks Harald! I used the 18-55 OSS kit-lens (as mentioned in the intro
![]() I added a bit of vignetting in #1, otherwise the overall picture would have been been very bright. |

Fred,
As I've commented previously, I'm not such a big fan of IR. However, your recent posting of monochrome IR is most appealing. Strong image composition, beautiful tonal renderings. I particularly like ##2, 3, 4 and 5. TFS. |

A typical dutch scene, but very attractive in this setting. #1 looks best here, but the sky in #2 looks amazingly beautiful. TFS Fred

Thanks Michele!.
Maybe I shouldn't have presented them in the same post. #2 was a kind of experiment with a less traditional framing using some negative space at the right. |
