Hi all.

As most of you might know, the first NEX cameras did not allow the use of an wired intervalometer. The only way to shoot remotely was using the IR remote from Sony or a cheap knock off from eBay. And they don't have intervalometer. So I've searched online for the solution to this problem and found it!!
The first one is a DIY remote using a cheap IR remote and a Chinese intervalometer. Very easy to make and cheap as well Video

The second it's even better. There are a few apps on the play store that will do the trick. The one I've checked it's free and have a lot of functions to play with. Sound/light trigger, intervalometer, DOF calculator and more. It will work with most brands as well. As long as your phone have an IR sender you good to go. Google play store link

Hope it's useful for some of you.
