but i think a list with adapters for a mount would be helpfull for people who just begin out in photografy (me two years back). than you can see if there are any lenses from an old relative that might fit on your camera with the right adapter. espacially since a mount camera's are getting cheaper, the intrest will rise.

I started with Minolta A mount cameras when I got a used 7000AF in the early 90's .
No internet then , so finding anything out was much more difficult, now two minutes on Google tends to answer any question you have .

I use the list you provided a link too since I found it after I went digital with the Sony a100 I got when it came out in 2006 .
It's really handy as a quick look on it tells you if a specific adapter is possible .
If one isn't readily available there's a few firms can make one for you .

Read some of your replies to others on this thread and more. The ones that are disrespectful, impolite, condescending or just plain rude are the snarky remarks.

I'm not about to post examples of them , you work it out .

I learnt my manners when I was a child off my parents, and I'll leave it at that .

Of course I do -- when they do!

I've helped lots of people on this Forum -- and others (see below) -- and I don't expect anything in return.

Admin note:

This is a general reminder of the high standards that our members expect of each other when posting in the Dyxum forums.

We do not tolerate posts that belittle other members; call names; are SPAM;
seek to offend or deceive; bait, flame or bash; make political points; use offensive language;
suggest that someone posts elsewhere; or judge a member by their sex, ethnicity,
country of residence or number of posts made.

We are honest and open; we tolerate different opinions; we respect other’s cultural viewpoints; we try to pass on knowledge and expertise; we try to bring something constructive to each topic; we express disagreement in a reasoned and reasonable manner.

We do report threads that we think go against these principles to the moderators via the report button.

Members are respectfully asked to consider if their contributions comply with all of the above before pressing the post button, and to report posts and threads that they believe go against these principles to the moderators via the "Report post" button.

Some general remarks:
Let's try to appreciate everybody who is responding and trying to help, even though they're not directly answering the question(s) asked by the OP. I'm sure they're doing it with the best intentions
Let's try not to "teach" other members how to behave, usually the thread content doesn't improve when that happens.
Let's get the discussion back on a list of A-mount adapters, which is what this thread is all about

No, I'm neither of those, but I do have a large collection of original Miranda stuff, some boxed, and most of the cameras they made. I'd be happy to part with most of it so send me a PM with details of your friend's wants and I'll reply.
I do have a very nice extreme macro setup I used for a '50' challenge here a few years ago with the expensive bellows and short-barrel 135mm telephoto that fits it.

Miranda F & Sensorex, Sony A7Rii, A58, Nex-6, Dynax 4, 5, 60, 500si/600si/700si/800si, various Sony & Minolta lenses, several Tamrons, lots of MF primes and *far* too many old film cameras ...

Thanks. I'll let him know and get some specifics. There was what I thought was a great Miranda bellows setup on GOODWILL a while ago, but he had no interest. It sold for "pennies", in my opinion.
And, much to my surprise, he was interested in this M42 to Miranda adapter. I guess they are unusual:
